Are they having too much fun at the MTC?
The elder on the right is his companion, Elder Nulph. I am guessing the elder in the center is another missionary in their district, Elder Gordon.
I was happy to see that they let them watch the fireworks on the 4th of July!
Well, Elder Francom has left the MTC and is in Washington tonight. I checked his flight status online and it was right on time today. I was also very happy to find a memory card with pictures from the MTC in my mailbox today.
Thank you for all the letters he got while he was in the MTC. It made his day to get mail. Keep sending them!
I will email his address to everyone as soon as I get it.
This is probably about or will be my last letter form the MTC. I want to let you know some more about how life is here at the MTC. We wake up at 6:30 every morning, but we always got to bed early. During the day we have two, 3 hour classes. We have lunch at 12:30 every day and then there is zone teaching. That is where we are taught by missionaries on our zone or we teach them. Dinner is at 5:30 and Wednesdays there is icecream for lunch and dinner. I usually have 2 or 3 bowls. On Tuesdays we have devotionals and they are always very good. That is about it. We always learn way more than we can remember and it is very hard to get through 2 classes without falling asleep. We have gym for 50 minutes every day except Sunday. I found some other elders that like to run and we go out to the field, so I have been getting some good running in. I have also started doing lots of pushups, so my arms have been dead, but I enjoy it all. I love getting letters from everyone. It makes my day so much better and exciting. I am so excited to get to Seattle and be able to eat some real food wether I have to cook it or we get some from the members!
I miss everyone and hope you are all doing well. Tell all the friends and family hi and that I am doing good.
Love, Elder Francom
So I got my travel itinerary tonight. YA!!! I depart on July 12, 2011. I report to the travel office here at the MTC at 5:00 in the morning! Then we leave for Salt Lake Airport and our flight is Delta Air Line 1857. It is scheduled to take off at 8:30 and we will arrive in Seattle at 9:34 their time, because it is an hour later here. It was so exciting to get my itinerary tonight even though I still have about a week and a half left. Time here at the MTC is flying by. I love it here.
I love you all and look forward to your letters.
Kade, that is awesome that got the mini bike running! It is exciting to hear that you are getting really good with your trapping. Have you and the family taken the boat out? I hope you are having a great summer and playing with the dogs.
Trace, have you been going fishing? How has your summer been going? I hope that you are helping Mom alot. Have a fun summer, it will go by fast.
Brielle, how have ya been? Have you been on any dates lately? Are ya getting your running or bike riding in? Have you had anytime to hangout or have ya just been working? Tell all the friends I said hi and I am doing good.
Well everyone, I have been in the MTC for a week. The start of this week has gone by so fast. I am happy to be out here serving the Lord. I am even more excited that I only have 2 weeks left in the MTC. I will never eat MTC food again when I leave, but the ice cream has been pretty good! : ) But mom, nothing can even compare to the food you make. I look forward to eating it again someday! I hope everyone is staing healthy and doing good. Tell family and friends I said hi. Thanks for being such a supportive family to me. I couldn’t do it without you guys. And thank you little boys, for writing me so much. It is so awesome and makes my day to get letters from you.
Love, Elder Francom
I hope all of you are doing well. Brielle, I hope you had a good time at girls camp and made it home safe. Dere, it is way cool that you found a Yamaha 250 for sale. Keep saving your money. Kade, how is the trapping going? Are ya catching alot of animals? Trace, have you caught any fish lately?
I am learning so much at the MTC, probably more than my mind can hold. We wake up at 6:30 every morning and usually don’t go to bed until 10:30 or 11. the MTC food is definately not like yours Mom. I really don’t like it very much, but it is keeping me alive.
I don’t know if I told you my companions name or not, but he is Elder Nulph. He is from Firth, Idaho and his first name is Shane. He was picked to be our district leader and he is doing a great job. We have alot in common and are getting along very well.
I miss all of you guys alot. I can’t wait to get out of the MTC and into the field. I am excited to serve and I know this is where I should be.
P.S. Thanks for the letters
Well, I made it through the day. ha ha It was really good. I have been staying really busy and everyone here is extremely helpful and nice. Everyone says that you just have to make it to Sunday and it will be good from there. I hope you guys had a good lunch at Chuck-A-Rama and made it home safely. My companion is awesome and reminds me of Daylen. He rides motorcycles and wakeboards and it should be a good 3 weeks inthe MTC. Thanks for everything. I will write to you guys later
